RC Mobile Home Service & Transporting is licensed, bonded, and insured to perform installation services in New Mexico, Colorado, & the surrounding Four Corners Area. We provide comprehensive set up for manufactured & modular housing, office trailers, and park model units. In addition to Nationwide Transportation Services and Foundations in New Mexico.

RC Mobile Home Service & Transporting has been in business since 1982. Rick & Kandice Cochrane have built their reputation on quality & service. RC Mobile Home Service & Transport provides services to home-owner's throughout the Four Corners area and Western United States.

Rick & Kandice Cochrane are members of the New Mexico & Colorado Manufactured Housing Associations and the New Mexico Trucker's Association. They spend time after hours attending meetings to ensure they are informed of the most up to date information and knowledge within the manufactured housing & trucking industries. Kandice Cochrane presently serves on the New Mexico Manufactured Housing Association as the Installer/Transporter/Supplier Board of Director. The NM Manufactured Housing Association selected Rick as one of the top 5 preferred set-up contractors in the State of New Mexico.

Our company can meet all your manufactured homes, modular homes, office trailer, and park model needs. Our services include disassembling and preparation of units, transporting, and set-up of single wide and multi-section units. COMPANY GUIDELINES

GUIDELINES FOR SITE PREPARATION& DELIVERY

Site should be accessible for transport truck.
Site should be as level as possible.
Soil should be compacted to avoid sinking or shifting of loose ground.
The unit to be transported should not be overloaded, as overloading can cause structural failure.
Landscaping & terrain around the home must be graded to slope ground for water runoff away from the home.
Upon completion of a safe delivery our professional crews will install your home to assure it is leveled correctly to meet manufacturer, state, & local jurisdiction requirements. Utility installation is available in the state of New Mexico
All work is guaranteed by a written 90 day installation warranty.

GUIDELINES FOR HOMEOWNER MAINTENANCE

WEEKLY

Clean: Carpet, furniture, sinks, tubs, counter tops, linoleum

MONTHLY

Clean: Cabinets, replace filters on range hood & furnace, test smoke detectos, GFIC Circuit, check windows & doors

QUARTERLY

Clean: walls, metal sliding
Check: roof stacks, vents, water heater T&P, valve, check tiedowns, mechanical air ventilation system (escpecially at the beginning of winter)
Level & adjust piers

YEARLY

Clean: Drapery
Check: Painted Siding, chassis touch-up paint
In Spring: repair & paint as necessary
In Fall: caulking of all joints or openings, bottom board for tears, heat tape recept, check skirting vents for blockage, winterize swamp color, remove hose from ext hose bib
